JM Family Donating $100,000 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund

Hurricane Harvey made landfall just north of Corpus Christi, Texas as a Category 4 storm last Friday night. The storm is the first major hurricane to strike the U.S. in more than a decade. Harvey’s strength, coupled with unique weather conditions, resulted in catastrophic rain and flooding beyond anything experienced in Texas before – and it’s not letting up.

To help in the recovery process of Hurricane Harvey’s aftermath, JM Family is making a $100,000 donation to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. The Red Cross and its vast network of volunteers are providing shelter, emergency resources and aid to the victims of this disaster.

Additionally, any JM associate with family who has been impacted by this tragedy may apply for a $1,000 grant from JM Family’s Associates Helping Associates program, which provides aid to associates in need through donations from fellow associates.

Jim Moran founded JM Family and South Florida locals a very familiar with their philanthropic work giving back to the community. It warms our heart to hear that the JM Family are not only extending a helping hand to the citizens of Houston but will directly help their associates affected by Hurricane Harvey.
